In-Person Option

Location: University of Louisiana at Lafayette
Day Includes: breakfast, lunch, snack, and attendance to conference sessions of the day
Open to students, ages 13 and up; NMEA membership included

In-Person Presentations
All presenters must register and attend the in-person conference to present in these sessions.
Lightning Session: A 7-minute presentation, including questions, made by one person. Lightning sessions will be grouped by topic.
Poster Session: Present a prepared poster for conference attendees to view and ask the presenter questions (easels provided; mounting boards provided or you can bring your poster pre-mounted)
Fee: $100 (Scholarships available; NMEA membership included)
Asynchronous Student Options
Presenters
This is a presentation-only format available for those attending the conference remotely. All presenters of this format must register as asynchronous presenters.
Pre-recorded presentations: 15- to 30-minute pre-recorded presentations will be uploaded and viewable to all registered participants asynchronously on Whova.
Fee: $25 to submit a presentation with access to networking and viewing other presentations on the Whova conference app.
Non-Presenters
Fee: $10 for non-presenters who want to have access to networking and viewing other presentations on the Whova conference app.

Student Scholarships
Partial scholarships are available that cover $75 of the $100 in-person registration fee OR $15 of the $25 virtual registration fee. Scholarship recipients will need to pay the difference when they complete their registration.
Scholarship applications are due by May 16, 2025. Application for scholarship funds does not guarantee receipt of funds. Recipients will be notified by June 1, 2025.
