Current Log: Volume 39 - Issue 2 - Fall 2024

We’re excited to announce a new issue of Current: The Journal of Marine Education! Volume 39, Issue 2, Fall 2024 is now available! In this issue, our articles dive into a variety of marine topics:

  • Promoting worldwide ocean literacy by leveraging educator networks at home and abroad to standardize learning

  • A lesson plan that utilizes data from fluctuating ocean temperatures and demonstrates the influence of the Loop Current in the Gulf of Mexico

  • A guided-inquiry lesson that focuses on how ocean acidification and environmental stressors can affect crab larvae in the Florida Keys based on real data and videos

  • New penguin children’s book from Deborah Rose for young learners
